Woke and started making them have a few from that day which will be posted. I'm getting so many I can't come up with names so I've decided to date and number them
So many colorful fractals it's hard to pick just one to comment on and fav... many of the fractals I see on dA are mostly black with a bit of color int he design. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place... but I do find explosions of color here. I like this one just because I'm partial to purples and blues. The shapes catch my attention too because the larger the line, the more curved it is while the shorter the line, the more angular it is.
Do you mind if I download some of the fractals to print out on paper in order to fold into origami? I'm been meaning to try out that idea but I just haven't found any fractal patterns this colorful that I really liked. Of course I'll link to whatever I use and give you credit for the pattern.

I'd be very interested in seeing how that would work out so Yes go right ahead I'm going to have my first attempt at origami with next week so i was doing some looks up and yours are really nice ^_^
I'll be posting some more Fractals soon and 99% are bright out of this world colors so they would be good for origami i bet
I tried printing out some fractals the other day with mixed success. While the printed version doesn't look bad, the original needs to be an incredibly high resolution in order to see details. My printer is capable of 300 dpi and to get a 6 inch square of print with that resolution, the original fractal needs to be 1800 * 1800, which I believe this one is 640*480. I tried blowing it up but it got grainy and lost the details on the small edges, which is the entire reason most people like fractals.
What program do you use? Are you able to set the resolution when it is made? Of course it'll take longer for the fractal to render but it'd be worth it when printed.

While I have an MSN account, I rarely ever IM... so you'd be better off sending it to soul_flame@hotmail.com
And you can upload large files to dA, up to 20 megs I believe. You have to if you want to sell prints. Even if you don't sell prints, you can do so just to have a higher quality picture displayed, as this is what I do.

Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
